Capital Medical University

Capital Medical University was founded in 1960 and is a key higher education institution in Beijing. It is a jointly established institution by the Beijing Municipal Government, the National Health Commission, and the Ministry of Education. The school headquarters has 11 colleges and 1 research center. Capital Medical University's overseas education began in the early 1960s. Now students come from more than 60 countries, most of which are from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Central and Eastern Europe, covering many countries along the "the Belt and Road", and a few from North America and Europe. Non academic international students and exchange international students remain stable, with an average of 100-200 students per year.

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, between the ages of 18 and 30. High school graduates or higher degrees with qualifying grades of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
2. Good health, meet the corresponding professional admission conditions: proper eye sights with no color vision deficiency; normal function of hearing, smell and expression; Anyone with infectious diseases (hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis，tuberculosis, etc.) and chronic diseases are required to be completely cured before applying; Applicants with a history of mental disorder are not recommended to apply. International School has the rights to terminate student’s application who don’t meet the health requirements..

3. Comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the relevant regulations of the Capital Medical University.

4. We require the score report of TOEFL/IELTS or other English test certificate for all international applicants whose primary native language is not English and who attend a non-English speaking secondary school. Minimum scores of 80 on TOEFL or 6.0 on the IELTS are recommended.
