Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), located in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province, is a national key university administrated directly by the Ministry of Education of China. Founded in 1945, HFUT has a long history of providing high-quality education and conducting cutting-edge research in various fields. HFUT is one of the universities of Project 211 and Program 985 innovation platform in China, and also one of universities included in the list of “Double First Class” plan, the country’s construction plan of world-class universities and first-class disciplines. Nine disciplines of the university have entered the top 1% of the global ESI ranking, and its engineering science disciplines have entered the top 1‰ of the global ESI ranking.

1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, physically and mentally healthy.

2. Master applicants must hold Bachelor’s degree before September 1, 2024 with good academic record and should not be older than 35; Doctoral applicants must hold a Master’s degree before September 1, 2024, with a good academic record, and should not be older than 40.

3. Applicants for English-taught Programs must have English proficiency of IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 85/TOEFL Essentials 9/Duolingo 100. For applicants who complete their previous study in English, an instructional language certificate can be submitted as an alternative to IELTS or TOEFL.
