2024 ZJU English-taught Undergraduate Engineering Program

Zhejiang Univeristy

Zhejiang University is a national key university directly under the administration of Ministry of Education and among of the first batch of 'double first-class' universities in China. Nearly one hundred undergraduate majors are offered by colleges and departments affiliated to the seven faculties of science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, information technology, humanities and social sciences. With program length of 4-6 academic years, undergraduate programs are instructed in Chinese generally, while some English-taught programs are also available. Graduates fulfilling all the degree requirements will be awarded the bachelor’s degree.

1.ZJU-UIUC Institute: Electrical Engineering and Automation, Electronic and Computer Engineering 

2.College of Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering and Automation 

3.College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering: Electronic Science and Technology, Information Engineering. 

4.College of Control Science and Engineering: Automation 

5.College of Optical Science and Engineering: Optical Information Science and Engineering 

Students enrolled in the above-mentioned programs can apply for a specialty transfer to any of them during their studies, but can not transfer to other undergraduate programs of Zhejiang University. 

Reminder: Students who are enrolled into programs provided by the following Colleges will spend first three years of study at International Campus, Haining, and final year study at Yuquan Campus, Hangzhou, namely, College of Electrical Engineering, College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, College of Control Science and Engineering, College of Optical Science and Engineering . Students of ZJU-UIUC Institute will complete their four-year study at International Campus, Haining.

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with proper moral conduct, in good health with no infectious disease or any physical or mental diseases that may affect the normal study. 

2.Applicants must be valid foreign passport holders and have graduated from high school with standardized test score, such as SAT/IB/GCE A-LEVEL/ACT etc. (Graduating high school students can provide pre-graduation certificates first, then provide the graduation certificates no later than registration). 

3.Applicants must be under the age of 25.

4.If applicants’ native language is not English, they should provide score report of English language test (e.g. TOEFL / IELTS / Others).
