About ZJSU

Established in 1911, Zhejiang Gongshang University is located in Hangzhou city, Zhejiang Province, renowned as the Paradise on Earth. ZJSU has more than 27900 students including 1600 international students with 6 academic discipline PhD programs, 47 sub-discipline PhD programs, 16 academic discipline master degree programs, 92 sub-discipline master degree programs, 16 master of professional studies programs(covering 25 fields) and 3 postdoctorate research centers. Over the years, some of the international students studying in our university have continued to study or work in China, some have returned to China to serve as government departments or universities and scientific research institutions, some are engaged in Chinese teaching or trade and cultural exchanges with China, and some are working in foreign enterprises, giving full play to the expertise they have learned in our university and making contributions to Sino foreign cooperation and exchange. The college will take the inheritance of Chinese culture and expanding the international influence of ZJSU as its own responsibility. It will further actively develop international student education and make continuous efforts to realize the breakthrough and leapfrog development of internationalization.

Qualification

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.
2.Applicants for bachelor degree studies must have high school certificate.
2.English Medium Degree Programs: Applicants (except for English native speakers) must provide proof of English language proficiency such as TOEFL/IELTS.

Application Materials

1.Copy of the student’s passport.
2.Notarized highest education certificate and academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translated English or Chinese version.
3.English Proficiency Certificate.
4.Copy of passport and two-inch photo.
5.Foreigner Physical Examination Form (within six months).
6.Applicant under the age of 18 should submit Letter of Authorization and Guardian's Letter of Guarantee and guardian must be adult Chinese person; 
7.Police Certificate.
