About ZJU

Zhejiang University is a national key university directly under the administration of Ministry of Education and among of the first batch of "double first-class" universities in China. Nearly one hundred undergraduate majors are established in colleges and departments affiliated to seven faculties of science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, information technology, humanities and social sciences. With program length of 4-6 academic years, undergraduate programs are offered in Chinese generally, while some English-taught programs are also available. Graduates fulfilling all the degree requirements will be awarded the bachelor’s degree.

Qualification

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with proper moral conduct, in good health with no infectious disease or any physical or mental diseases that may affect the normal study, and be under the age of 35.
2.Applicants must be valid foreign passport holders and have a bachelor’s degree (Applicant who has not got the degree certificate when applying shall provide the pre-graduation certificate first, then provide the academic degree certificates no later than registration).
3.Applicants should meet with Language Proficiency Requirements of Master Degree Programs at Zhejiang University for International Applicants.

Application Materials

1.Photocopy of the passport.
2.Highest degree certificates. If applicants are university students, they shall provide an official pre-graduation certificate. The original or notarized copy of the academic qualification certificate must be submitted after admission.
3.Academic transcripts during Bachelor’s degree study, which must be original documents or notarized copies.
4.Language proficiency certificates.
5.Two letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, in Chinese or English. (Professors’ signature, contact phone number and email address must be put on the letter.)
6.Personal statement, in Chinese or English, should include study and work experience, reasons for application and study proposal. No less than 1500 words.
7.Published academic papers or other academic achievements. (If applicable).
8.Acceptance of International Student by ZJU Supervisor.
9.Applicants are encouraged to provide GRE、NTS-GAT test score.
