About NENU
Northeast Normal University, or NENU, is an institution of higher learning under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, being selected as one of the universities given priority in construction of the211 Project. NENU is situated in Changchun City - the beautiful Spring City of northern China - with the main campus locatedin the Renmin Street, covering 730,000 square meters and the Jingyue campus located in the picturesque Jingyuetan Tourism Development Zone, occupying 940,000 square meters. There were 25,218 full-time students in NENU, including 14,719 undergraduates, 9,864 M.A. and Ph. D students. This includes 635 foreign students.

Qualification
1.Non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport and be physically and mentally healthy, age 18-40.
2.Applicant should obtain bachelor's degree.
3.Applicants from non-English speaking countries should submit proof of English language proficiency.
Application Materials
1.The photocopy of passport,photo page and China visa page.
2.Diploma and certificate of highest education (notarized photocopy). An applicant who is a current student shall submit the certificate of expected graduation or student status.
3.Academic transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
4.English language proficiency for those applicants whose mother tongue or official language is not English. TOEFL/IELTS/TOEIC or other certificates.
5.Physical examination report.
6.Study plan more than 800 words.
7.Two recommendation letters in English by a professor or associate professor.
8.Abstract of applicant’s undergraduate graduation thesis.
9.Other documents required by university.
