About TMU
Tianjin Medical College, the predecessor of Tianjin Medical University, was founded in 1951. It is a medical college approved by the former State Council after the founding of People’s Republic of China. In June 1994, Tianjin Medical College and Tianjin Second Medical College merged to form Tianjin Medical University. In December 1996, it became the only Municipal University under the national "211 Project" in Tianjin. In September 2017, TMU was selected as the national "world-class discipline construction university".
Tianjin Medical University is actively engaged in the cause of medical higher education in China. At present, the university has two campuses of Meteorological Station Road and Guangdong Road and eight university hospitals. There are 21 undergraduate majors, 19 colleges and 1 independent college. There are 10491 full-time undergraduates or above, including 5409 undergraduates, 3457 masters, 798 doctoral students and 827 international students.

Qualification
1.Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, in good physical and mental health, abide by the laws and regulations of China.
2.Applicant should provide senior high school graduation certificates or highest graduation certificates, excellent academic performance, under the age of 25.
3.English-taught programs applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate like TOEFL or IELTS or the certificate of English instruction language (English native speakers are exempted).
Application Materials
1.Scan of original highest education diploma or original notarized diploma in English or Chinese. Scan of pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicants have not gained certificate.
2.Scan of notarized copy of transcripts in English or Chinese.
3.Photocopy of applicant’s passport within the validity period.
4.English language proficiency, TOFEL no less than 80, IELTS no less than 6.0.
5.Physical examination record for foreigners.
6.No-criminal record certificate.
7.Personal statement more than 300 words.
8.Other supporting documents required by university.
