About BNU
In 1960, Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) was established in the southeast industrial area of Beijing, bearing the mission of providing the capital with engineering talents to serve the new high-level, high-precision and advanced industrial system. Following the principle of “Rooted in Beijing, Serving Beijing, Inspiring China and Embracing the world”, BJUT has pioneered a development path with its own characteristics. In 2017, BJUT officially entered the list of universities in the national “Double First-Class”Initiative. In 2020, BJUT ranked 32 in the QS Mainland China University Rankings.
Today, BJUT has developed into a high-level multi-disciplinary research university providing programs in science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law, art and education, with engineering as a core focus. Currently, BJUT has 3 national key disciplines, 21 Beijing municipal key disciplines, 70 undergraduate programs, 33 master’s degree programs, 20 doctoral degree programs and 18 post-doctoral research centers. 8 disciplines entered Top 500 of the 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject. 6 disciplines including Chemistry, Materials Sciences, Engineering, Environment & Ecology, Computer Science and Biology & Biochemistry entered Top 1% of the ESI Rankings.

Qualification
1.Applicant must be a non-Chinese nationality , holding a valid foreign passport or international identity certificate, in good mental and physical condition, age 18-35.
2.Applicants for Master’s Degrees should have a degree equivalent (or above) to a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
3.Applicants from non-English speaking countries should submit proof of English language proficiency.
Application Materials
1.A copy of passport personal information page.
2.Highest education diploma or certificate of expected graduation date.
3.A copy of official-proved the final degree transcripts for all years.
4.English proficiency certificate for the applicant whose educational language is not English (TOEFL 85 or above, IELTS 6.5 or above, TOEIC 750).
5.Study or research plan (no less than 800 words).
6.Two recommendation letters from associate professor or above title.
7.Supervisor acceptance letter.
8.Photocopy of foreigner physical examination form.
9.CV.
10.Non-criminal record report or proof of performance issued by school
