Tianjin University, founded in 1895, is the oldest institution of higher education in the modern history of China. In recent years, there have been over 1000 international students at different levels coming to this university each year and this data has placed the forward rank among the national science and engineering universities and local universities.

Eligibility

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, theconditions set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the Peoples Republic of China should be met.

2. Applicant must have a high school diploma and be under the age of 18-24. Applicants who have not yet reached the age of 18 by September 1, 2025 must submit the original of the guardian certificate issued by the Tianjin Notary Office. The guardian must be a resident with permanent registered residence in Tianjin.

3. HSK4 or above, or certificate of Chinese language learning for more than one year.
