Originally founded in Dalian in 1950 as the first petroleum school of New China, Liaoning Petrochemical University (Liaoning Shihua University ) is located in Fushun of Northeast China (ten-minute driving from Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province).Overlooking the scenic banks of the Hunhe River, Liaoning Petrochemical University enjoys a beautiful campus environment. The school covers an area of approximately 1.26 million square meters, with a total construction area of 850000 square meters. The library has a total of 3.2708 million book resources and 45 electronic literature databases. The school has 18 colleges with over 19000 full-time students. The university is a first-class discipline (Class A) construction university in Liaoning Province. It has two joint doctoral training programs, 14 first level discipline master programs, 47 second level discipline master programs, and nine master professional degree authorization categories of materials and chemical engineering, resources and environment, energy power, electronic information, machinery, business administration (MBA), accounting (MPAcc), translation (MTI), and art (MFA). Engineering and chemistry have entered the top 1% of ESI globally.

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, between 18-35 years old with good health condition, in accordance with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the Ministry of Education, China.

2. Applicants should possess academic credentials equivalent to those of Chinese senior high school standards.

3. Applicants should have good moral character and discipline towards the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the university.

4. Applicant should meet the language proficiency requirements for English-instructed program.
