Guangzhou Medical University

Guangzhou Medical University is one of the universities accredited by the Ministry of Education of China to recruit Bachelor degree of Clinical Medicine Program (taught in English) of international students, and has been recruiting students since September 2010. This program aims at training international medical elites with solid foundation of medical knowledge, superb clinical skills and good professional qualities according to the international standards for medical education and the Provisional Regulations stipulated by the Ministry of Education on quality control standards for the undergraduate medical education (in English medium) of international students in China. The program also pays attention to some special requirements of certain countries where the majority of the students are from. The program duration is 6 years which includes one year internship, and is awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in English.

1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate.
2. Applicants should be 18-25 years old with a high school diploma or above.

3. Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy, and meet the medical examination standards for applying for a study visa or residence permit in China.

4. Applicants should be friendly to China, with excellent grades and good conduct, without any record of violation of school rules and regulations, nor any record of public security punishment or criminal record.

5. Applicant’s language proficiency must meet the requirements.
