Hebei University of Technology

The predecessor of Hebei University of Technology is called the Beiyang technology school established in 1903, which is the earliest university in China to cultivate industrial talents, and it founded the earliest university run factory in China. The University ranked among the first batch of key universities under the national "Project 211" in 1996. In 2014, it was jointly built by Hebei Province, Tianjin and the Ministry of education. In 2017, it was selected as a national "double first-class" University.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

(1) be a citizen of a country other than the PRC and in good health both mentally and physically; For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, the conditions set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China should be met;

(2) be an academically excellent holder of high school diploma or its equivalent under the age of 22 when applying for an undergraduate program;

(3) have HSK (Level 4) results not lower than 210 when applying for a Chinese-taught undergraduate program;

(4) have TOEFL results not lower than 85 or IELTS results not lower than 6.0 when applying for an English-taught undergraduate program.

Fees

Tuition fee:16,000 CNY/ academic year for major of Communication Engineering.

Accommodation fee:

Single room: 1,050 CNY/bed/month or 40 CNY/bed/day (less than a month)

Double room: 600 CNY/bed/month or 25 CNY/bed/day (less than a month)

Quad room:300 CNY/bed/month or 15 CNY/bed/day (less than a month)
