About NBU
Ningbo University is an institution jointly developed by the Chinese Ministry of Education, Zhejiang provincial government and the Ningbo municipal government. It was selected for the national ‘Double First-Class’ educational initiative, and was one of the first five key universities selected by Zhejiang Province. Ningbo University is ranked among the top 100 Chinese universities for academic excellence. The university has five campuses, covering an area over 3000 acres, with a floor space totaling 124,000 square meters. The university supplies a complete set of facilities and services for teaching, and research. It has 9 affiliated hospitals and 8 hospitals for internship. The University employs over 2826 staff members including 1843 teachers and researchers, 401 have senior professional titles and 783 have associate senior professional titles, and over 1158 staff hold a PhD degree. It has 7 class-A subjects and 6 class-B subjects rated first-class provincially. Qualification
1.Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and high school graduation certificate, in good physical and mental health, age 18-25 years old.
2.Applicant should hold a high school diploma with a satisfactory academic record.
3.Applicants from non-English speaking countries should submit proof of English language proficiency.
Application Materials
1.Passport sized colored photo.
2.A photocopy of passport.
3.Copy of visa: applicants in China must provide.
4.Copy of applicant’s notarized high school diploma. Prospective students must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
5.Copy of applicant’s high school academic transcripts.
6.English language proficiency for those whose native language is not English, please provide score report of English language test (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS/others)..
7.Foreigner physical examination report.
8.Non criminal record certificate.
9.Other supporting documents: paper published, volunteering certificates, etc. If any.
