About SWUFE
The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, known as SWUFE, is one of the Ministry of Education’s 71 key universities. Within this elite group, SWUFE is one of only five universities specializing in finance and economics. SWUFE was established in 1925; it now contains 2 campuses, 27 departments and schools, and 22,000+ students. SWUFE takes pride in cultivating a campus atmosphere that emphasizes innovation and the appreciation of fine culture. Qualification
1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, be in good health and get good grades.
2.Applicants must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and local government as well as regulations of SWUFE.
3.Age 18 to 40 years old.
4.Applicants whose native language is not English are required to provide a score report of an English language test (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 95 and above), or pass the test organized by College of International Education, SWUFE.
Application Materials
1.Passport photo taken within 6 months.
2.Notarized highest degree certificate or an equivalent. If the applicant has not obtained the degree yet, then should provide an original official letter that states this student will obtain the degree.
3.Complete transcripts of the highest education.
4.Two recommendation letters signed by associate professors or professors or people with relevant academic titles in related academic fields.
5.Study plan or research proposal.
6.English language proficiency.
7.Applicants who have been in mainland China should also provide the copy of the page of visa or residence permit.
8.First page of applicant’s personal passport.
9.Physical examination record for foreigner.
10.Other optional documents that could present applicants’ academic and comprehensive ability, for example, award certificate, published paper, etc.
