About SEU
Southeast University(SEU) is one of the national key universities administered directly under the Ministry of Education of China. As a centennial prestigious university, it is located near the city center of Nanjing, to the west of the Purple Mountain and the south of Xuanwu Lake.
Now Southeast University has developed into a comprehensive university, boasting 29 schools or departments with 75 undergraduate disciplines in all. It also has 30 post-doctoral stations, and offers 30 PhD programs and 49 Master's programs; it holds a national lead in architecture, civil engineering, electronics, information technology, energy, power engineering, and transportation technology, etc.
Southeast University has the total number of faculty and staff of about 2700, including 1800 professors and associate professors, 10 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering. At present, the number of the full-time students is over 30000, of whom about 14440 are postgraduates. Southeast University places equal emphasis on research. It is one of the top 10 universities in scientific research and development in China，with over 20 national or provincial research institutes and a number of key research bases.

Undergraduate program December 1st to May 30th next year
Postgraduate program December 1st to April15th next year
Qualification
1.Non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport and in good health, age 18-25 if pursuing the bachelor’s degree; age18-40 if pursuing the master’s degree.
2.High school diploma or higher educational background with good grades if pursuing the bachelor’s degree; Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification with good grades if pursuing the master’s degree.
3.Language requirement: English is good enough to study all the courses.
Application Materials
1.The Photocopy of Passport (photo page and China visa page).
2.High school diploma and transcript if pursuing the bachelor’s degree (original or notarized version, in notarized Chinese or English translation)
3.University bachelor degree certficate and transcripts if pursuing the master’s degree (original or notarized version, in notarized Chinese or English translation)
4.Authorized Copy of TOEFL 80 / IELTS 6.0 for those applicants whose mother tongue or official language is not English.
5.Other documents to show general capabilities such as awards, recommendations, etc., on which premium will be placed.
6.Physical Examination Report (within in 6 months).
7.Non-criminal Record.
8.Two recommendation letters if pursuing the master’s degree.
9.Study plan about 800 words if pursuing the master’s degree.
