Central University of Finance and Economics

Central University of Finance and Economics (hereafter CUFE), as one of China's key universities under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education, enjoys the patronage of both the central and municipal governments, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and Beijing municipal government. It is listed in Project 211 and also among the first universities to enter Project 985 Innovation Platform, whose objective is to promote scientific research of high-priority areas in the fields' top institutions. CUFE is selected into the Double First Class Initiative, a national project with the goal of fostering world standards in China's universities, whose applied economics is rated A+ by the Ministry of Education in the fourth round of national academic evaluation. CUFE is honored as “cradle of experts in the field of finance and management sectors in China”, which has trained over 160,000 high-quality talents of all levels for the national economic construction and social development. CUFE is located in Beijing, the capital of China, with convenient transportation to downtown areas.

From June 1st to July 31st, 2024

1. Non-Chinese citizens with a senior high school diploma or above in good physical and mental health, generally under 25 years old. Applicants under 18 should provide certificate of guardian who has Beijing residency.

2. The requirements set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met for CUFE applicants as well.

3. Applicant should meet the language proficiency requirements for English-instructed program.

Tuition: CNY 40000/year,

Accommodations: CNY 40-80/day.
