ZJUT equips itself with an excellent team of faculties. Among its 3200 staff, there are 410 professors，965 associate professors and over 870 teachers with doctor's degree. ZJUT has one academician of CAE (Chinese Academy of Engineering), three academicians of CAE and CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences) whom ZJUT shares with other institutions, 43 teachers titled with "National Excellent Teacher" and 47 teachers with "Provincial Excellent Teacher".

Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) is founded in 1952 and situated in Shenyang. During the past 60 years, Shenyang Aerospace University has developed into an academic center, housing teaching buildings, research laboratories, a library which is both an architectural and cultural icon, a theater building, sports arena, swimming center and student’s activity centers having 600,000 square meters of floor space and cover 200, 000 square meters of landscaped gardens. Other services such as the school hospital, comfortable accommodations and a number of dining halls are also provided.
The university has 1,600 staff, 900 of which are academic, and boasts an attendance of more than 20,000 students. While focusing on engineering disciplines, SAU’s scope has been enhanced with curricula covering such areas as science, management and liberal arts. The university has 44 disciplines for undergraduate study, 50 disciplines for master degrees, and joint programs for PhDs. SAU degrees are recognized around the world.

China Pharmaceutical University (CPU), situated in the historical and cultural city of Nanjing, is one of the “211 project” key universities affiliated to the Ministry of Education of China. Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) is a key construction university of Zhejiang Province. It can trace its origin to the former Zhejiang Special Medical School established in 1912. In August 1958, a group of faculty were sent from Hangzhou to Wenzhou to help build up Zhejiang Medical College, which was ever since renamed Wenzhou Medical College in accordance with its location, and renamed Wenzhou Medical University in 2013.

Ningbo University is a dynamic, young and comprehensive university with a wide range of disciplines: economics, law, education, liberal arts, history, science, engineering, agronomy, medicine and management. It is one of the key institutions of higher learning of Zhejiang Province. Deng Xiaoping autographed the name of Ningbo University. Throughout its establishment and development, the University has been upheld by considerable donations and generous support from patriotic overseas Chinese such as Sir Yue-kong Pao, Sir Run-run Shaw, Sir Chao An Chung, Sir Cao Guangbiao, Sir Li Dashan, Sir Zhu Xiushan, as well as from personages of various circles in the country. Mr. Cheng Gang, a standing member of Ningbo Municipal Committee of CPC, is concurrently Secretary of the Ningbo University Committee of CPC. Professor Nie Qiuhua holds the presidency of the university.

It was established originally as the School of Engineering of Dalian University in April 1949. Dalian University was divided in July 1950 and the School of Engineering of Dalian University was reestablished independently as Dalian Institute of Technology (DIT), which was again renamed as Dalian University of Technology in March 1988.
