Chapter 1 General Principle
Article 1 Kunming Medical University Scholarship for students of MBBS (thereafter refer to as Scholarship) is set to support excellent international students of MBBS who wish to come to study in Kunming Medical University and to encourage in-school MBBS students to study and to participate in activities underneath Chinese laws and university regulations. This regulation is formulated in order to guarantee the implementation of scholarship evaluation. The Regulations shall be interpreted and implemented by the International Education School of Kunming Medical University.
Article 2 This regulation is formulated for students of MBBS program. The evaluation shall be carried out within the principles of “publicity, fairness, equality”.
Chapter 2 Ranks, Proportions and Standard of the Scholarship
Article 3 The details regarding the ranks, proportions, and awarded money of scholarship are listed in the following table:

Chapter 3 Requirement and Application for the Scholarship
Article 4 Requirement for the application of Scholarship:
1. Students who have been enrolled into Kunming Medical University for MBBS program.
2. Students who comply with Chinese law and regulations of Kunming Medical University.
3. Students who have upright learning attitude, hardworking spirit and excellent academic records.
4. Students who actively participate in the activities held by classes, schools, and the university.
5. Students who commit the following situations shall be disqualified from the evaluation for scholarship.
1) International students who violate the Chinese law
2) International students who get the administrative penalty from Entry-Exit Administration Bureau for violating the relative regulations and laws.
3) International students whose misconducts are against social morals and result in negative impacts.
4) International students who do not pay the tuition,hostel and insurance fees within the prescribed time
5) International students who seriously violate the regulations of Kunming Medical University.
6) International students who has got the scholarship provided by the government, companies, or other social organizations.
Article 5 Time of evaluation
September of each year. The exact time will be informed by Section of Students’ Affairs.
Chapter 4 Grant Scholarship
Article 6 The Section of Students’ Affairs will grant the scholarship to the qualified international students within 30 workdays after the publication of result.
