About JLU
Jilin University is a national key comprehensive university under the direct administration of Ministry of Education in China. Located in Changchun, Jilin Province, the university was founded in 1946. In 1995, it became one of the first "Project 211" universities, as determined by the State Education Commission of China. In 2001, Jilin University was listed as one of the “Project 985” key construction universities. In 2004, it became one of the universities under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. In 2017, it was rated as one of the universities for building world-class universities in the “Double World-class Initiative”. We have established a high-level talent training system for the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. There are 72,830 full-time students, including 8,496 doctoral and 20,774 postgraduate students, 41,955 undergraduate students, and 1,605 overseas students.

Qualification
1.Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, in good physical and mental health, abide by the laws and regulations of China.
2.Applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree.
3.English-taught programs applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate TOEFL or IELTS (English native speakers are exempted).

1.Scan of original highest education diploma or original notarized diploma in English or Chinese. Scan of pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicants have not gained certificate.
2.Scan of notarized copy of transcripts in English or Chinese.
3.Photocopy of passport within the validity period.

7.Two recommendation letters by professors or associate professors in Chinese or English.
